Tsurune: Kazemai High School Kyudo Club (ツルネ ―風舞高校弓道部―, Tsurune —Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu—?) is the first season of the anime adaptation of the book series of the same name by Kyoto Animation. It was originally planned to premiere on October 14, 2018, on NHK-General Channel, but has been moved back to October 21, 2018, due to "organizational issues." It is licensed in North America and Latin America by Sentai Filmworks.
Plot[]
Tsurune centers around Minato Narumiya, a first-year at Kazemai High School who used to do kyudo in middle school but quit after a certain incident at his last middle school competition. Despite the urging of his childhood friends, Seiya Takehaya and Ryouhei Yamanouchi, he refuses to join his high school kyudo club, but an encounter with a mysterious man named Masaki Takigawa in a forest causes him to change his mind. Along with his old friends and new comrades Nanao Kisaragi and Kaito Onogi, Minato aims for the prefectural tournament once more.
